Last night I learned a very important lesson about how when kids are being too quiet they are up to something. Our friends were over with their 2-year old daughter. The moms were doing crafts and the hubbies were playing games. The little ones were in another room but we could hear their laughter so all seemed fine until my friend's hubby decided to check on the girls. Their little daughter, Sadie, had found our Vaseline and decided to rub it all over Sydney's face and hair.
The other day, Sydney took her shirt off. I didn't know she could do that!
And then I just love Sydney's proud look in this pictures as she rides atop her lion.

Yep. Relish the noise and fear the silence. LOL
Too fun!!
she looks JUST like brian in that last pic! and yes i definitely understand the too quiet thing! how long did it take to get all the vaseline off?!
haha yes as much as we wish for peace and quiet it usually means trouble. :) I haven't seen Sadie in ages she's giant! Tell Mike and Hannah hi next time you see them.
that little one of yours gets cuter every day.
Yuch! That must have been a bugger to wash off!! My kids are never quiet, so if there is silence, for sure there is trouble!!
At 2, Samantha smeared herself in Vaseline when she was supposed to be taking a nap. I didn't take her picture until the next day. Guess my frustration took longer to wear off before I was laughing about it. It took a number of days to get the stuff completely out of her hair, so I imagine that you dealt with the same with that cute Sydney! It is so fun to see how you guys are doing. Love you all!
