Headband and Digital Scrapbooking

I've got some pictures of Sydney in a headband that I tied a bow onto. It lasted a few seconds. Also, we went outside on a sunny but windy day in our nice big yard. The previous renters have left their plastic slide outside for now so we had a little fun. And then a digital scrapbooking page I did. It is really fun! I have found some cute free packets on the internet and have just been playing around with them. Sorry to make my blog spot a "brag spot".

I made a new blog header. This is my first attempt at digital scrapbooking. What do you think?

Scrapbooking

I took pictures of most of the pages I have scrapbooked for Sydney's book and posted them on our gallery website. You can view them here. Sorry that a lot of them are not focused and have strange colors. I was in a hurry to take the pictures. There are so many and taking your scrapbooked pages in and out of the protector sheets is annoying.

More pictures

Here are some more pictures from Easter in Montana. Aunt Janae!

Montana Easter

So I know I am the LAST person to post pictures and updates from Easter. Sorry! Brian and I went up to Montana for Easter. This is the third year in a row. As long as Aunt Janae is willing to invite us, we'd like to come up if able! Sydney got to meet a lot of her second cousins and we all had a wonderful time with the beautiful scenery of mountains and just being out of Rexburg! Brian's cousin Wendy took some professional photos for us and they turned out wonderfully- at least the pictures where Brian was not scowling, you think we were killing him asking him to pose for some pictures..

As much as Brian and I wanted to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt and claim we were there on Sydney's behalf, we withdrew graciously. But it was a really fun time! As it always is when we get to spend the holidays with family.

On a side note, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!! Does anybody have any business contacts? Brian and I are willing to move ANYWHERE! So, if you know someone who is hiring, please let us know! Unless, you don't want us living near you :( Brian graduated in Business Management with a Supply Chain emphasis which means he would like to work in purchasing, inventory, warehouse, etc. Any entry-level position. Thanks.

6 months and counting...

Wow! Sydney is getting so big and she is so much fun! She is now army-crawling across the floor and has 2 teeth coming in at the bottom! She is so talkative, giggly and just energetic! I could definitely use her energy! Brian and I made homemade applesauce this last week (don't worry, it was just apples and water) and were so excited to get her to try it but she gave us some faces. You'll see them below.
Not liking the applesauce too much.

Rocking out with Dad....sort of.

6 months old!

She sits up really well, too.

That's all, folks!

What I do

Well, I know lots of you already know about the business Brian and I own and some of you don't, so I thought I would explain. On the right side of this blog, there's a list titled "Our Other Blogs/Websites". At the bottom of the list is "Our Board Game Store." Clicking on that will take you to a blog with game descriptions and prices. Also, you could go to our store front, Tuck's Media where Brian is working on building the website so you can order games from us using Google checkout. We started the business last August when we decided that all the games we love were very popular and growing with popularity especially with our friends and thought we could get good business in this area. We started with just word of mouth but we have had booths at the Rexburg Unplugged and Some Guy's Flea Market local events. We're learning all about owning private businesses as we go and it's been fun. We sell games like Settlers of Catan, Bohnanza, Carcassonne, Killer Bunnies, etc. Most of the games are international ones that have been translated and came to America. If you haven't played any of the ones I have listed, you are really missing out. Monopoly, Life, Guesstures... these classics are fading as new wacky and exciting genres of games are stepping into the limelight. You can always come over to our house and try some of these games out for yourself.
Now, on a side note about the other blogs. I don't update them as much as I should but I have two other blogs. "Star Mapping" is my blog for connecting movies that a certain actor has been in. If you're like me, you are always saying, "What else have I seen that actor in?" or maybe you didn't even realize that person was in that movie. Most of the time, it has been a while since you watched that movie and the actor is more famous now then when they were in that movie. Anyways, I just like making connections.
And my third blog is called "That's Special". This is a saying Brian and I use when we are saying nothing because there is nothing nice to say about these weird phenomenon. Every now and then, I come across something on the Internet that falls into this category. Hopefully this blog will induce a laugh sometimes.
So, there you have it. My blogs and our business.
