For the 4th of July, Brian and I went to Swan Valley and checked out the waterfalls and then this hiking trail at some camp grounds.
Next to the hiking trail was this creek where we found fish with peculiar behavior. These trout are trying to jump back up this little waterfall and get back upstream. We sat and watched them for about 30 minutes and they were not giving up!

WOW!!! sounds like you had a fun 4th as well.!!! we had really fun. however no we didn't eat the crawdads, i think i was too scared too. donno why, but i guess it just didn't sound too appealing at the time. I think eric wanted to, but the way glen, the guy who showed him how to catch them said that you eat the tails and after i saw them break one off i think that might have just made it so i didn't want to eat it.... :( bla yuck... but it was fun!!!!
